Programs

MCCHE is the state partner for a number of national civic and history education programs including We the People, Project Citizen and the James Madison Legacy Project. Elementary and secondary educators from across Maryland are invited to be a part of our professional learning communities to support the growth in civic knowledge, skills and dispositions for both students and teachers. Our We the People and Project Citizen programs provide an experiential learning experience for the students through the simulated hearings and showcases.
